About

Songs of Two Worlds is a dialogue of words, sounds and images about indigenous people in the contemporary world.

The title represents communications — between infinite pairs of worlds such as material/non-material, light/shadow, old/new, sound/image, illusion/reality, indigenous/non-indigenous.

  1. Thank you very much, Lance and Barbara, for sharing your work. I’m a young poet trying to learn how to speak truth while engaging in active resistance to the dominant culture. Lance’s Strong Heart Songs is always in my pack and finding this website has been a great surprise. Thank you for all your work.
